The Timecard Fix Tool is designed to help you quickly generate timecards for drivers who have worked a route (based on available manifest data) but are missing either a clock in, clock out, or both. This tool simplifies payroll prep by automatically filling in missing timecards using data from FedEx.
⚠️ Important Notes:
This tool is currently only available on the PackageRoute web app.
You can only generate timecards for the past 30 days.
This tool does not generate timecards for the current day.
How to Use the Timecard Fix Tool

Open Timecards
From the left-hand menu in the web app, click on Timecards. -
Enable the Timecard Fix Tool
On the right half of the Timecards page:-
Expand the Timecard Issues section.

Toggle on Enable fix timecard issues tool.

Toggle on Generate timecards for all drivers.

Set Clock In/Out Time Offsets

Use the Clock In and Clock Out offset settings to adjust for travel time to and from the route.

For example, if a driver usually takes 20 minutes to reach their first stop, set a 20-minute clock in offset.

Optional: Add Breaks

Toggle on Add Break if you want to insert a break into each timecard.

Specify the break length and timing.

Generate the Timecards

Once your settings are in place, click Fix.

Timecards will be generated based on your inputs and available FedEx manifest data.

Common Error Message: "Cannot apply fix: No scanner data"
If you receive this message, it means the tool could not generate timecards due to one of the following reasons:

There is no scanner data available to determine route times.

The employee may have clocked in to perform non-route duties (e.g., admin or training) and never clocked out.

In these cases, since there's no manifest/route data, the tool cannot infer times.

How to Manually Add a Timecard
If the fix tool cannot generate a timecard for an employee, you can manually create one:

Click on the employee's name in the Timecard Issues list.

Enter the clock in, clock out, and break times as needed.

Save the timecard.
